Our founders were early Sur-Ron owners back when getting one meant weeks of forum research, sketchy import listings, and crossed fingers. We learned these bikes the hard way — the maintenance quirks, the battery care, which upgrades matter and which are hype, and where you can actually ride them legally. Somewhere between our third battery and our hundredth trail day, we realized the thing this sport was missing wasn’t another marketplace. It was a dealer who actually rides.
So we became one.

We love these machines, and part of loving them is being honest about them. Sur-Ron bikes are off-road electric motorcycles (eMotos) — not electric bicycles. They have no pedals, and their power and speed put them well beyond e-bike classifications in every US state.
That means, in stock form, they are not street legal. They’re built for private property, designated OHV areas, and off-road trails — which is exactly where they’re the most fun anyway.
